I have had people read this blog and ask why do you blog? What makes you qualified to have a blog?
Definition of blog: a website containing a writer's or group of writer's own experiences, observations, opinions, etc. So what makes me qualified: the fact that I have experiences, stories, opinions, advice, and wisdom that I am willing to share with you. I am as qualified to blog as you are. You just have to have the desire to share them. "Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers, in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity." 1 timothy 4:12 (NLT) I am 18, which gives some people further reason to disqualify me. How would an 18-year-old have enough experiences, stories, opinions, and advice to impart wisdom into other people twice her age? But guess what? That challenges and motivates me to try harder and be better and do more and prove them wrong. If someone tells you that you can't, you say, "I can. And I will." 1 Timothy 4:12 can be turned around just a little. Don't let anyone think less of you because you are older! My mother has decided to go back to school and I am immensely excited for her! You don't always catch people in her age range in a community college, so she is challenging that stereotype and saying I can! Keep this quote in mind when you are challenged: "God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called." You are called and able to do things that you could not possibly imagine!
