I have been encountering this sentence many times recently. Think about it. To say God is love. Is is a verb, which implies action and in this sentence the action of love is going to God. God, and who He is and what He stands for, is the definition of love. It's this love that is hard for many Christians and non-Christians to even wrap their head around. The best image that I can think of is to imagine is God standing in front of you and going to give you a hug, he reaches his arms out, and they just keep going and going and going and there is just no way of seeing where they end. It is a never ending distance and amount of love that He has for you. I forget this concept so often. I carry myself throughout the day going through the motions of school, work, home, family, friends. Then the inside feelings of worry, doubt, stress, sadness, anger, disappointment. But I have to continually remind myself that God and His love for me are always by my side through school, work, etc. And there is no point in doubt or frustration when God and His love for me are already in the process of working all that stuff out. It is just so important to remember throughout your day that God never fails you, He never leaves you, and His love is never ending, everlasting, and unconditional throughout all your days! Isn't that amazing??!
